Preseason starts today at 4pm EST, the first pre-season game of the new league which is a hybrid version of Beer League and MSHL of old. To join a team (if you haven’t already), please join the free agents roster under MSHL rosters in rshl.org (you need an account).
Alright, so what can we expect from Day 1 of pre-season games?

Game 1: PieRats vs Rogue Squadron
The two euro teams will face each other at 4pm in the afternoon for us in America. The good news is that these two teams have enough people on their roster that I don’t think there will be any issues with players showing up to skate.

Big E and Boogie have teamed up to create a cohesive unit with a brand new franchise that hopes to train newbies in the ways of the force. As you can see, both teams have enough players to make it an interesting match to watch. The newest addition to the Rogue Squadron roster is Nameless King, who appeared to be not interested in playing this season (for a variety of reasons) but at the very last minute changed his mind.
As for PieRats, Lemonaire and madjack have both become General Managers (see the post on General Managers for more info on them) in order to create a hefty team of both returning euro players and complete newbies. The acquisition of Linix and Randle will surely make them a worthy adversary in this new MSHL.
Game 2: PieRats vs Prestige
I would’ve liked to say that back to back games for PieRats would make for an entertaining comparison (to see how much they change from one game to another), but it seems this one is probably not going to happen unless we get a few NTS players added.
Prestige Roster:
Artos joined late to the Prestige lions, making it only their third acquisition since the team was created. Hopefully they are able to get more players before more games are scheduled for them in the future.
